Myshka

One of the questions we hear most since Peter's arrival is, "What does Myshka think of him?" If you ask Myshka, she will probably tell you that her favorite thing about Peter is all the new toys around the house.

A few things Peter and Myshka have in common... They're about the same size and they both sleep all day.

Dress Up

Class of 2027?

The Deerfield onesie was a gift from Stephanie. Paired with khakis and argyle socks, Peter looks prepared for a stroll down Albany Road. All he needs now is a lacrosse stick.

Sleepy Boy

The Uitenbroeks gave us these pajamas and blanket with "Sweet Dreams Peter" stitched on them. As soon as we put Peter in the outfit, he yawned right on cue. Perfect.

Bug

My family has called me Bug ever since I was little, so it was just perfect when we received a ladybug swaddling blanket and hat from Nanny. I'm sure that someday Peter will be mortified that his mom dressed him up as a ladybug, but for now, I'm pretty happy with this little costume.

A Growing Boy

Peter is growing so fast! I tried to put him in the outfit he wore home from the hospital and it hardly fit him. When he wore it at the hospital, it was huge. Now, it's too small. I can't believe it!

Peter at 3 days... I think he looks sort of like an elf.

Peter at 6 weeks... The hat is kind of rapper-like. I call him MC Big.

A Friend!

Today, Peter made his first friend, Daisy. Daisy is just a few days older than Peter, and her mom works with me at IF. We met at The Grove for coffee and shopping. The babies loved it.

Peter Learns

This video is courtesy of Uncle Mitch. If you watch closely, you can see Peter getting smarter.

Peter Goes to the Beach

Another first for Peter. While Uncle Mitch was visiting, we went to Santa Monica for a walk along the bluff overlooking the ocean and a delicious lunch of oysters on the half-shell at BP Oysterette.

We tried a couple of different angles thinking maybe this was a Christmas card photo opportunity. Too bad neither of us had showered. I think we might need to plan a little better next time we go to the beach.

And here are the brothers...

One of Peter's tricks...

...is to spit up more than any other baby around. Uncle Mitch came to visit from Chicago. Here's what happened after he fed Peter a giant bottle.

Notice the outfit change. That is because Peter had already spit up all over the place. Just as soon as we put him in a new outfit...

Gross!

Grandma Dorothy and Peter's first venture into the real world

Grandma Dorothy was here for Peter's one month birthday where he got the okay to go out in public. To celebrate, we went to the most quintessentially LA place we could think of. The Ivy on Robertson.

Here he is... The most important person in the place.

Who's that under the blanket? A celeb? Why yes...

More guests

Aunt Sarah and Uncle Sam and Grandpa Moe came to town for Labor Day weekend. Peter had a great time hanging out with everyone, and can't wait for the arrival of his cousin in December.

We had a chance to go to the beach while Ben stayed at home with Peter. Christmas card picture anyone?

A Visit from Nonnie

Peter's first out of town guest, his grandmother Nonnie, arrived a few days ago. She and Peter are practically best friends already.
