We're having a lot of fun getting used to being a family of four. Here's what's been going on this week...
Clara is spending more time awake. Now, if I can just figure out a way to make that time be during the day, we'll be all set. Suggestions, anyone?
Clara had her two week doctor appointment and now weighs 8 pounds and 4 ounces, which is 5 ounces more than her birth weight. Nice job, Clara!

Family of Four
She's here! Clara Jane Apley arrived at 2:43pm on Monday, March 14 2011. She weighed 7 pounds, 15 ounces (one ounce bigger than her brother) and measured 20 1/2 inches long. She is just perfect.
Here we are getting our first glimpse of her.
Clara has the best dad in the world.
Nonnie was very excited to meet Clara, too.
She's a very sweet little girl.
And she sleeps a lot... Thank goodness.
Peter came to the hospital to meet her.
Between the cool bed and all of the other gadgets in the room, I'm not sure he even noticed the baby.

"Hey Mom, can I press that red button again?"
We are so thankful for Clara's safe, happy and healthy arrival, and we are looking forward to getting settled in at home as a family of four.

Wardrobe Issues
We've had some wardrobe issues at our house recently.
Poor Myshka... We needed something for her to wear to keep her feeding tube close to her body. The vet suggested getting a t-shirt for a Chihuahua.
I don't think he meant a red cheerleading outfit with bones on it. How humiliating.
This is how we found Peter the other morning in his crib.
Looks like he was trying to remove his pajamas like he did here.
