Yogurt Stop

Today, we took a family walk to Yogurt Stop.

Here comes my mister! He's carrying sunblock. What a good California boy.

Easter!

Happy Easter!

We had a great Easter Sunday, which started bright and early with getting Easter eggs ready for a hunt on our front patio. Peter's eggs had Hot Wheels and stickers in them. Super cool.

Clara supervised the hunt from her perch in her dad's arms.

After the hunt, we got ready for church. Clara had a beautiful Easter bonnet and dress. She loved her outfit... check out that smile!


We tried to do some family photos.

A sibling photo... They look pretty happy, don't they?

We went to church, and afterwards there was an Easter egg hunt in the church playground. Peter found a few eggs, but was mainly interested in the sand and the toys.

After church, we had brunch at one of our favorite spots, Kate Mantilini. Look where they seated us. I guess that's what happens when you walk into a restaurant with a baby and a toddler.

We didn't care. We were just excited to be out for brunch!

Babygroup Friends

Last weekend, Peter got a chance to meet up with a few of his babygroup friends at the park.

The boys from left are: Camden, Peter, Oliver and Lee.

If there is anything better than eating Goldfish at the park with friends, I don't know what it is.

And what's Clara been doing lately? She got to go to the park, too. See those legs in the corner of the frame? There she is!


She also enjoys just being a baby at home...

Peter Apley, Monster Spotter

Each morning, we check to see if there are any monsters outside Peter's window.



Peter usually spots two or three hiding behind the cars in the driveway or the garbage cans. Thank goodness for Peter's monster tracking skills.

The Park with Friends

This weekend, we met some friends at the park for a picnic and other fun.


Lisa and I went to high school together. She has a son, Atticus, who is just a few months younger than Peter, and is expecting a little girl in a few weeks. So cool that our kids will be so close in age.


One of the best things about this particular park is that there is a little creek for the kids to splash around in.


If you can see beyond the tattooed body builder, you will see two cute little boys and their dads wading through the creek.


Wet pants!

After a change of pants, Peter joined the picnic.

Atticus, on the other hand, could not leave the creek.

Snack time.

"Would you like some goldfish?"

"I Push"

Peter is a great helper when we go for walks with Clara.



He says, "I push! I push!" and then helps to push the stroller.



It takes us about 12 times as long to get anywhere...



...but it's fun and really cute.

Siblings

It has been pretty fun getting Peter used to being a big brother. Today, we went to the park. Peter wanted to share his ice cream.

"Thanks, Peter."

Earlier this week, Peter offered to show Clara the best features of the activity mat.

"This is one of my favorites!"
