Since there is almost nothing our family loves more than strawberries, today we went to the annual Strawberry Festival in Oxnard, CA.
We kicked things off on the right foot by starting our day in the Make-Your-Own Strawberry Shortcake tent.
Peter probably should have just asked for a bowl of whipped cream.
Clara was dressed appropriately for the day in her strawberry dress. Several people asked us if she was going to compete in the fashion show in the afternoon. Hmmm... Do you think Clara is the Toddlers & Tiaras type?
There was a cool Kids' Zone with fun rides, like this alligator roller coaster.
Peter LOVED it.
Clara, on the other hand, preferred to observe.
Driving race cars...

Flying an airplane!

What a fun day with such great things to do...and eat. You live in the best place EVER. I wish I could have eaten strawberries with you. I LOVE Clara's dress.
What a fun day! Now I want to eat strawberries and get a strawberry dress. Peter looks like he is having a wonderful time.
